Chemical peel treatments are bespoke to your skin and needs so we will discuss your skin in detail during the consultation. We do superficial and medium depth peels so the peel itself and downtime will be different for each. Frequency of repeat treatments will be determined during your consultation.
For superficial peels there is no downtime. Stay well hydrated and keep skin clean and makeup free for 12 hours. For medium depth peels such as ‘The Perfect Peel’ you will be given strict instructions and an aftercare kit which you must follow. Strictly no sun exposure for 3 days and downtime is around 1 week.
Chemical peels can be a great treatment option for a range of conditions. Glycolic Acid Peels use enzymes to exfoliate and refresh the skin.
You may need more than one peel to achieve your results. A treatment plan can be created which may include using this treatment alongside other treatments following consultation.
Downtime varies depending on which peel you have, discomfort is very minimal.
You may experience a tingling sensation in the area during the treatment. Sometimes your skin can be slightly pink immediately after a superficial peel but this quickly subsides. All aftercare advice is discussed at consultation and an aftercare advice given. KLA doesn’t offer any treatments for anyone under the age of 18.
